| Our family would personaly like to thank all the members that have volunteered their time to help HFH and our family in building our home. We never imagined so many people who took time out of their personal lives to help a family of people they don't even know. We think it's really wonderful how much giving and kindness there still is in the times we live in now. It's been a long 14 years for us renting an apartment and it's the greatest feeling for us to know we will have a home to call our own. The HFH organization is in itself a wonderful group but wouldn't be possible without you people who volunteer their time and energy out of the goodness of their hearts and we are very greatful to all of you and all the folks that helped our family out. We'll certainly try to remember who you all are and you you know where we are at and will be there any time any of you need us for anything. Just ask. Thanks again for everything. |

| To: Habitat for Humanity and all volunteers,
We really don’t have the words to express how thankful we are. You all have been a true blessing and for that we thank God. But how can we thank you? Just saying thank you isn’t enough. You all have worked so hard and given your time unselfishly. You worked in the rain and in scorching heat, without asking anything in return. Some of you have made special trips just to see that certain things get done. Each and everyone of you are truly amazing people and you prove that there are still good people in this world.
We really don’t know what more to say. So for what it’s worth. Thank you and God bless.
Sincerely,
The Smith Family

| It is with great pride I write this letter of thanks today. I would like to take this opportunity to personally and sincerely thank each and every Habitat volunteer who helped in any way of the construction of our new home. I can’t begin to express the gratitude my family and I have, for all you’ve done. We recognize and understand you all have busy lives with busy schedules and yet…. You still take the time to care and give unselfishly of your time and efforts to help turn the hopes and dreams of families like ours into reality, and for that we will be forever grateful. My family and I never imagined something this wonderful could happen to us.
Since receiving our beautiful new Habitat home our lives have been truly blessed. Everyday I continue to see remarkable changes in all of us. Like pride for example. My children now seem more eager and proud to bring friends home to see their new rooms decorated in the cool way they like. Another example is responsibility and willingness to help in ways they weren’t use to, simply put….. caring…. Molly now shows her own initiative to help with household chores without even needing to be asked. And lets not forget self esteem…..Joey has even begun to get better grades now in school and continues to show improvement. So you see, we have been blessed in more ways than one.
We received the keys to our awesome new home on December 1, 2005. Just in time to spend our first Christmas in our new home. I assure you, it is truly a day and holiday we will always remember.
